Niigata So Odori Festival

Japan Sea’s largest dance festival, attracting over 200 dancing groups—and over 10,000 dancers—from the prefecture, from the rest of the country, and from all over the world. Featuring a recreation of 300-year-old Niigata dances, and ending with everyone dancing together, the event is a Niigata special that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
