Niigata Sake no Jin (Niigata Sake Fair)

A major event for Niigata Prefecture, home to the largest concentration of sake brewers in the country. Here you can sample over 500 varieties, from approximately 90 local brewers! Just purchase a tasting ticket, and you’re on your own. Niigata sake is known for its own distinctive taste. And, of course, it goes great with the Niigata food on offer, too.

3 hours per session, 2 rotations per day, changeover system. 4,000 people maximum for each session (Limited to 16,000 people over 2 days)
A paid tasting ticket is required to enter the tasting venue (Wave Market).
You can enter the venue (2nd floor Esplanade) without a ticket.
