Bandai Bridge
- This third incarnation of the bridge, built in 1929, is recognized as a symbol of the city and is officially designated an “important national cultural property.” Its length is 306.9 meters (1,007 ft), and the river it spans, the Shinanogawa, is the longest in Japan. The structure’s attractive granite siding enhances the beauty of its six lovely arches. Cherry blossoms and tulips line the area in spring, and nearby cafes are popular in summer.
